Mixed thoughts

I had really high hopes for this polish. The holo in it is truly beautiful, but I bought it because it was described as red. It's not red, but a very bright pink. I'd call it fuchsia or a magenta more than red. It also chips just hours later, even with the long lasting base coat I bought. However, the polish is incredibly pigmented. I can get mostly full coverage in just one coat. The polish is very good in some ways, but I was disappointed in others. Seems like this might be a one off though based on other reviews that have been posted.

Buy a thinner and pray. The color is worth it.

Great color and effect. Cool red without being dark. Worth it! If you are into cool red more than anything... And no, I don't believe (my bench of) Red Licorice is pink. The formula is... Chewy, thick and gluey. My first application, new polish and thinner helped only a little bit... Cleaning brush doesn't help really either as the formula sticks the layers kind of together and the most parts of a nail becomes a chunky dark mess. I just spend three hours with my mani (first application), so I can't value the chipping. I would use much more thinner for my second try that's for sure. Doing my nails every week, being faithful to Holo Taco since my first try last year. But this has been challenging.
