Too firm for effective gradients

Disclaimer: I have loved every product I’ve received from Holo Taco so far, though unfortunately this set of sponges has missed the mark. I was so excited to try these, after the set I had from elsewhere was coming off in bits on my nail when finishing gradients. Though in the end, these seem to be far too dense, absorbing the color inside it’s firm blocky ways - and the sponge itself acting almost like a buoy, bouncing off my nails when I dab dab dab, instead of comfortably forming to my finger. Regardless of how many times I tried to re-up my polish, I was met with the same results and eventually returned to using my off brand sponges that have a bit more give, and overall more stable coverage with less polish use.

Not worth it

I am a firm Holo Taco believer, promoter and a huge fan but these things are so genuinely upsetting that I ended up writing this review. They are too dense to dab dab dab, as they absorb all the polish and in return leave little to no polish on the nail, as well as smudging those little remains off the nail if you dab three times, like... what's the point >_<
