Colorful reflective
Just not as packed / reflective as I was expecting. I also think individual colors might’ve worked better :’)
Did not live up to expectations
I bought this polish with my friend since we love Holo Taco and wanted to try out a topper. However, online it looked way more impressive than in real life. In the bottle, the reflective pieces are quite beautiful and amazing. However, once applied, it has almost no direct sparkle. Sometimes when you look at it from the sides it's pretty, but honestly, I don't believe I can wear it over any polish as an improvement. I was interested as I had received Late Checkout as a gift the year before, and I adore its reflectiveness and wow effect. So, I was extra disappointed when this one came in. I enjoy Cristine's products, and I don't think that this is the polish that I was expecting, but it still has her wonderful consistency, and I can see how it may be others' cup of tea, just not mine.

First HT letdown
Unfortunately my disco dust was very grey. It just looked like non reflective solver glitter with a few pink specs. Such a let down, but the first and only so far. Customer service was amazing and quick tho!

Pretty but not as versatile as expected
I tried this over a few colours and have found it looks best over dark colours, either black or navy blues. For some reason the impact isn't as great over reds, and over any bright colours it makes them very grey, especially in natural lighting. I find that in most cases because some of the individual glitters vary in colour depth, instead of just being invisible in natural light, they stand out very dark and muddy the appearance of most polishes. I had to do a few test swatches to figure that out. But with the right formula and colour it gives a beautiful sparkly rainbow effect : Over dark and metallic formulas, something the topper mixing visually with the natural sparkle/shine of the formula makes it just perfect. Looked GREAT over Love Potion. The darker the base is, the better the dust pops out. For better or worse it will completely take over the appearance of a linear holo, all you will see is the individual "dust". I made the mistake of purchasing this thinking it wuld be a very vesatile holo topper, it was my very first one, so I admit to being a bit dissappointed. I haven't tried a classic holo scattered taco (yet, just ordered one) but I suspect it'll be much more versatile. I recommend it if you mainly wear dark / sparkly formulas to pair with it or if you don't expect it to be your "go to easy" topper. When it doesn't associate well with a colour/creme, it's cloudy, ironically dusty and greyish but when it does it is GORGE. Pictures will be with Love Potion (retired) and an electric blue creme, an electric blue and over Electrostatic (forgive the image quality, some of them are screenshots)
