United StatesNot the quality expected from Holo Taco
I got this when it was brought back for a short run for the holidays. I did read the comments beforehand seeing that some had problems with the color not being accurate with the description but I decided to try for myself. Unfortunately I had the same issues as people in the comments. The polish looked great in the bottle but when I tried to use it, it was an unflattering shade of dark brown. Not the black / red sparkle that I was promised.

I bought this polish in 2022 (obviously) and used it once it arrived. I completely forgot that this Polish was so disappointing back than, that I didn't used it for two years. The color was just a muddy brown and nothing like the Pics. Now 2 years later I wanted to give it a second chance. Now it also has the consistency of mud. I tried to thin it with the HT thinner, it didn't work. I have a lot of old polish, but this one is the only one aging that badly. Gonna ban her from my collection. </3

CanadaNot Quite What I was Expecting
I regretted missing this shade during its first run, so I was super excited to get this polish through the vault sale earlier this year. I've been waiting to use it for Halloween since it gives off the vibe, but unfortunately, this polish didn't live up to my excitement. I had the same problem I see a lot of other reviewers had regarding the colour of the polish; the shade is more of a muddy dark brown than a multi chrome black-to-red. Under any type of light (phone flash, halogen bulb, daylight, etc) I do not see anything other than the dark brown. I also experienced some of the texture problems other people were talking about; the polish dried down very rough and bumpy despite my use of a smoothing base and glossy taco. I love Holo Taco and think it is such a fun idea to do vault sales so people like myself have a chance of grabbing polishes we missed, but unfortunately this one just didn't live up to my expectations.

I was excited to get this from the vault but because it was the vault, I didn't have the chance to check reviews and review photos. I would have skipped it if i had. Like many people, it was just kind of a muddy brown, off black kind of weirdness. I wore it for a couple of weeks, it held up well, but i only saw *hints* of burgundy a handful (ha ha) of times. I debated leaving a review, feels silly since it was limited edition and it won't help anyone, it's really been nagging at me though. I know some people really like it so I wondered I'd maybe it's because it was my first multichrome and didn't understand them, then I put on Tax Haven and woah, love! So yeah. Total bust.

Have to agree with the other comments about it looking more like a brown. You really don't see the black/red shift in daylight only really with flash. It's nice to have in my collection but I rarely wear it
