It's pretty but..

It's a beautiful color and it has such a cool effect, where it's like duochrome? I also got a lot of compliments. My issue is that I was really hoping it was a silver shade with large flakes like in the first swatch picture but it's definitely pinky-purple instead and the flakes aren't as pronounced as I'd hoped.

Very sparkly

Love using it as a topper on top of light purple or pink. Works great as an accent nail. Love the sparkly effect!

Incohesive

The silver foil flakes are too noticeable and detract from the beauty of the polish. The purple iridescent shimmer would’ve been nice on its own or even with the holographic flakes, but I find the foil flakes to just be too much.

Overall pretty good

Overall, I like this polish. I like the color, how sometimes it looks more silvery and at other angles it looks more pink. However, even with my shorter nails (I keep them so they don't go past my fingertips), I needed 3 coats before it looked full coverage. I also did my usual nail routine before and after painting and I had chips within 2 days. Normally Holo Taco polishes last at least 4-5 days before I end up with any chipping, so I'm not sure if I was just being less careful or what happened. I will still use Got Cake, and I'm excited to try it over black as well.

Favorite Holo Taco Polish

Best looking polish that Holo Taco sells. It has an ethereal magical look that’s perfect for celebrations or every day and it just makes me so happy when I look at it. I wish Holo Taco would make more colors/different color shifts in this formula because it looks so good. It rivals the beauty of Mooncat’s polishes. It’s a more metallic cooler tone version of Mooncat’s “Moonfairy” polish. Which is also beautiful, but Holo Taco’s brand formula is better for sensitive skin and for people with eczema. Holo Taco’s “Got Cake?” polish it’s a prettier more fun version of Holo Taco’s “Milky White Shimmer” polish since both can give icing vibes at certain angles. But I feel that Holo Taco’s “Got Cake?” looks more special and is more versatile while also having the added bonus of looking like a completely different polish when you paint it over a darker color which is amazing for nail art.
