Wanted so badly to love it

So I originally left a 5* review when I bought this because I was so happy to have it. It's a beautiful color, I'm a big fan of J&J, and an occasional watcher of Christine. It was also my first Holo Taco purchase. I used the Halo Taco basecoat each time, but within hours the polish would flake off. I made sure to dehydrate my nails with acetone beforehand, tried with and without topcoat. Same results every time. I don't work hard with my nails - craziest thing I'd do is type on my laptop. I've never had a polish fall off of my nails so quickly - I think I maybe got a bad batch? I'm not sure, but it's unfortunately made me afraid to purchase from HT again. The two stars are for the color and the people involved, but the polish sadly sits in my medicine cabinet as it's unusable. :(

Monstera - The dream green

My first thought when I saw this polish was "oh god, why does this have to be limited edition???" The green dries a little darker than is in the bottle which, in my opinion, is a good thing! The polish is full coverage in 2 coats (you could potentially squeeze by a 1-coat layer if the polish is a bit dried out), and easy to work with. The only qualm I have is frequent for HT cremes which is that they can get a little gloopy after a few uses (two/three manicures), but this is easily fixed with some nail polish thinner.

I love a deeper green!

FINALLY! A green! They already have a lighter green, I believe, but that's not for me. This is though, and I love it! Applies evenly as usual. Next up I dream of a dark army/olive kind of green, for fall or something. Then my life would be complete <3

Unexpectedly Pleased

I did not expect this color to look as good on me as it does. Normally when I have worn dark green on my nails, it looks like I have nail fungus. I was planning on just using it for nail art, but it’s so beautiful, I have no problems using it for a full mani.
