    • Magnetic facts: Magnetic polishes require the use of our Magnetic Wand to activate the magnetic effect. This polish can also be worn without magnetizing for a beautiful uniform metallic shade!
    • Note: Holographic sparkles show best under direct sunlight, halogen bulbs, or just your phone camera flash! Swatch photos as pictured have one coat of Glossy Taco or Super Glossy Taco for optimal smoothness and shine. Super-pigmented shades may cause staining depending on the porousness of the nail and the use of a protective base coat.
    • Polish should be stored in a cool, dark place to keep it at its best for longer and to prevent the colour or consistency from changing.
    • Batch variability: Please note this polish is created using unique pigments that may vary slightly between batches.

Just no.

First of all, I think it's kind of bizarre that there is no option to review the whole collection as the magnetic bundle is no longer advertised on the website. It's holo taco, so the colors are pretty per usual. The pigment is strong per usual. However, three out of the five polishes, Stain the nails with the long lasting base coat after only two full days of wear. I didn't think I would have to remove them so quickly, but I did and was surprised to see three of my nails were stained reddish/Pink. The magnetic aspect of this polish is trash. The actual magnet that comes with it is also not great. I used my personal stronger magnet(for magnet fishing) to get a crisp line, only for it to slowly revert back and disappear. I have tried every aspect of getting those crisp lines that are advertised in the photos, except spending the whole day, an hour per nail on the magnet. Because I honestly think that is what it would take to achieve the results shown in the photos. I followed the video. I followed the video plus longer. The pink and green were the only ones that kept some reminance of the magnetic effect, but it was not very noticable. Showed up better under certain light and angle. If anything, this polish would be okay for an accent nail kind of thing, but be prepared to spend 30-60 minutes on that one accent nail to maybe get the results you want. Regardless, I am so ****** I bought two sets for me and my ten year old and neither of us get to really enjoy them after being so excited about them. I hate writing a review like this because I love holo taco, but damn they failed on this polish, falsely advertised it's actual achievable effects, and now I am out $200. Definitely going to rethink purchasing special effect and new formula polishes from now on.

Worth it!

Holo Taco is a.little more expensive than other polishes, true! It is worth it because it self levels better than all the other polishes I’ve used. This includes KB Shimmer, Mooncat, Olive and June, ILNP and Cirque. It dries quickly, IMO, and it lasts! The colors are gorgeous, inventive and did I mention it is self leveling? Totally recommend it!

Bad Magnetic Effect, Good Color

I love the color of Quen's Curse but it doesn't have the magnetic effect that other magnetic polishes have. I've bought and worn Queen's Curse and Love Spell and have compared the magnetic effect on both. No matter how much I try my bottle of Queen's Curse doesn't achieve the magnetic effect that my bottle of Love Spell does no matter how I apply it. I sincerely think my bottle of Queen's Curse was from an unlucky batch as I've seen other have great magnetic effects with Queen's Curse. TL;DR: Unlucky bottle of Queen's Curse with no magnetic effects but it's still pretty.

Beautiful color, bad magnetic effect

I bought Queen's Curse along with Love spell and Love Spell's magnetic effects looked more like the intended effect while Queen's Curse seemed to have no visible magnetic effects. I watched the tutorial and have no trouble applying the magnetic effect on Love Spell but after trying and retrying many times on Queen's Curse I'm confident that it isn't my application skill that's the issue. Although I didn't get lucky with the batch that this one bottle came from, Queen's Curse is still on my nail as nice dark purple color with bits of shiny elements.

Disappointed

I have several Holo Taco polishes and was excited when the magnetic ones came out. I already had some magnetic polishes from other brands so I was pretty confident in using the two colors I got from Holo Taco. I bought Love Spell and Queen’s Curse. Love Spell works fine, Queen’s Curse has not. It is a pretty color but I have not been able to get the magnetic effect to work and for the higher price I expected more. I bought these right after they came out and I feel I should have waited to see other people review them. I still like the brand but will be a little more cautious about new formulas and the specialty polishes that might take time for the brand to perfect.
