Nail polish deserves to be admired until the very last drop. Make your polish apply like new with our Nail Polish Thinner solution that restores old, thickened or goopy nail polish. Even beautiful things need maintenance: over time, with exposure to air, or as a result of thicker pigments like glitters, nail polish can get a little too thick. Simply add a bit of our thinner to keep your precious polishes feeling fresh.
  • Watch & learn how to thin out your polish!

    1. 1. Uncap a polish in need of restoration.
    2. 2. Press down and twist the cap of your bottle of Nail Polish Thinner to open. The cap is a ‘childproof’ style so downwards pressure while twisting must be used to open. Carefully direct the precision needle dropper tip just above the open bottle neck of nail polish.
    3. 3. Squeeze in 2-3 drops of thinner at a time. Cap your polish and gently shake or roll in your hands to mix up. Reopen polish and test application. Repeat by adding more drops of thinner until nail polish is desired consistency.
    4. Thinner tips: Do not add more thinner than necessary. This may cause breakdown of the polish or reduce it to an undesired consistency.
    5. Store in a cool, dark place with cap tightly sealed to prevent evaporation.
    • Restores old, thickened or goopy nail polish by replacing ingredients that evaporate over time causing nail polish to dry up or thicken

It's stuck

The screw on top and the dropper are stuck together, this will make it difficult to get a finite amount in the bottle which is very saddening to me as I mostly got it for the fact it would be in a easy dropping bottle.

Works as it should

I bought Devil’s advocate and it was such a thick nail polish I was grateful I bough the thinner because it was a life saver to make the polish less goppy

HT polish thinner

Haven't used it yet but anything from Holo Taco is of highest quality! I will use it in my HT glitter polishes and toppers only! No other brand is worth my Holo Taco! My favorite indie brand!!

Doesn’t work for Glossy Top Coat

I bought this as I was half way through my glossy top coat and it had become thick and goopy, I put in 10 drops to get the top coat thin enough to work with, it made the top coat slightly opaque, however it did somewhat thin it. I went to use the top coat again after thinning and it was just as thick as it was before applying the thinner, I mixed another 10 drops in and it turned the top coat even more opaque. Further, the top coat is now not as shiny on my nails, and took longer to set than normal (I have a thumb print in my nail from accidentally touching it 40 mins later). I hope this works for the other polishes but it does not work for the glossy top coat.

Good to go!

The thinner helped my top coat get back to normal working order! I haven't had to try it in a polish yet, but so far so good!
