Even beautiful things need maintenance: over time, with exposure to air, or as a result of thicker pigments like glitters, nail polish can apply a little too thick. Simply add a bit of our thinner to keep your precious polishes feeling fresh.

  • Watch & learn how to thin out your polish! 

    1. 1. Uncap a polish in need of restoration.
    2. 2. Press down and twist the cap of your bottle of Nail Polish Thinner to open. The cap is a ‘childproof’ style so downwards pressure while twisting must be used to open. Carefully direct the precision needle dropper tip just above the open bottle neck of nail polish.
    3. 3. Squeeze in 2-3 drops of thinner at a time. Cap your polish and gently shake or roll in your hands to mix up. Reopen polish and test application. Repeat by adding more drops of thinner until nail polish is desired consistency. 
    4. Thinner tips: Do not add more thinner than necessary. This may cause breakdown of the polish or reduce it to an undesired consistency. 
    5. Store in a cool, dark place with cap tightly sealed to prevent evaporation.

Works as advertised

I had been using acetone for years to thin my nail polish until I learned that it can destroy the nail polish by breaking down the formulas that make it up. Nail polish gets gloopy when certain chemicals in the polish evaporate. This nail polish thinner puts those chemicals back into the polish. I used this on a glitter topper that had glooped on me, and it worked. My polish is restored and I'm so happy!

I recommend this product

the nail polish thinner I was looking for

Years ago I once destroyed a glitter nail polish with a cheap nail polish thinner that made the glitter dissolve. When this thinner was released I was so hyped to restore all my non creme nail polishes. It works great, my glitter, iridescent flakies and holo are no longer goopy but still sparkle. I've even restored nearly solid dried out polish to their original liquid state.

I'm so glad this finally exists

Now i can refresh my HoloTaco Polish bottles without worrying about potentially changing the formula. To be honest though, till i had these the regular stuff worked too ...

Slays boots house down

It slays makes polish like new. Works better than other nail polish thinners I’ve used! Packaging makes it easy to use and pretty much mess free.
