Note: Holographic nail polish shows best under direct sunlight, halogen bulbs, or just your phone camera flash! Swatch photos as pictured have one coat of Glossy Taco or Super Glossy Taco for optimal smoothness and shine. Super-pigmented shades may cause staining depending on the porousness of the nail and the use of a protective base coat. Polish should be stored in a cool, dark place to keep it at its best for longer and to prevent the colour or consistency from changing.

The old frosted metals seemed to have larger foiled pieces in the base, while this one was much finer. While it IS a pretty polish it doesn't give the same blinding reflective shine the other foils seemed to! Maybe because it's a darker base? Who knows. It's still a gorgeous polish and I will wear it but it definitely looks different to the rest. P.S. mine is suuuuper thick and difficult to apply so thankfully I'm pretty experienced with polish!
The metals formula is one of my favorites and this polish hasn't let me down! Blacklisted has a true black base with silver metal flakes and a few holo glitters. The holo is very subtle, especially compared to the shine from the metals, but you can easily add a topper to up the holo without losing the metallic finish (Scattered Holo Taco is my favorite topper for doing this). Blacklisted is going to become one of my go-to polishes, especially for the upcoming spooky season. 10/10 would recommend, I hope Holo Taco makes more polishes with the metals formula in the future!
